Trump's missile attack on Syria doesn't seem to have helped his job approval numbers (which I believe was the real reason behind the attack), but it did accomplish one thing -- it has more Americans believing that it's likely that Trump will get us into a new (or bigger) war.
That belief has climbed among the general public from 51% last week to 62% this week -- a sizable jump of 11 points. The increase in those who now expect Trump will get us in a war also increased in both political parties -- by 15 points among Republicans and by 10 points among Democrats.
The chart is from an Economist / YouGov Poll -- done on April 10th and 11th of a random national sample of 1,500 adults (including 1,330 registered voters), with a margin of error of 3.2 points.
