At Home: DIY Coffee Table

At Home: DIY coffee table
Decorating my coffee table was the first step to long process of decorating my apartment. Since the living room is one of the most used and popular areas of my apartment, I figured I would start there. There are 4 crucial requirements to successfully decorating your coffee table.
1. A stack of books: Choose 3 hard covered books. Stack them from largest to smallest. Pick books that would be interesting for guests to look at, rather than something they would sit down and read.2. Fresh flowers: Although it may be a weekly investment, I think it is totally worth it. They brighten up a room, and add a personal sense of 'home' to your living room. They make the area more enjoyable to be around.3. A tray: The color of your tray should depend on the color of your coffee table. If you have a wooden coffee table a black try is the best option. For a glass coffee table use a black or wooden tray, and for a dark coffee table a clear, black, or wooden tray would do the job. 4. Personal items: Add a few items that people could use while sitting in the living room. For example: a deck of cards, a rubik's cube, candle, etc.
