ASUS ZenFone Selfie – Specs and Price

ASUS concentrates a lot on camera in its ZenFone versions. And so, seeing the craze for selfie, ASUS has launched a ZenFone that has been designed to provide better selfie output.

ZenFone Selfie (ZD551KL) has dual 13MP PixelMaster cameras. Yes, primary as well as secondary camera is 13MP with dual-color, dual-LED Real Tone flash. The cameras are quipped with laser auto-focus for faster shots.

ZenFone Selfie has 5.5-inch Full HD resolution, 403 ppi, IPS display with 178 degree view angle. It is equipped with Qualcomm 64-bit Octa Core Processor Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) at 1.7Ghz and Qualcomm Adreno405 GPU. It has 3GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage which is expandable to 128 GB. ZenFone Selfie is a Dual SIM and runs on 5.0 Lollipop operating system with latest ZenUI. It is powered by 3000 mAh battery with Fast Charge capability.

But camera being its highlight, let's come back to it. ZenFone Selfie's rear camera has f/2.0 aperture lens that helps in clicking better low-light shots. Both cameras have five-prism Largan lenses and Toshiba sensors. They are complemented by dual-LED Real Tone flash technology. ZenFone Selfie is also capable of good macro photography on subjects that are as close as 6cm.

Its Ergonomic Arc and rear key design makes it easier to capture selfies. The camera features include live digital cosmetics to enhance the selfies.

ZenFone Selfie's front-facing PixelMaster camera has a 13MP resolution as well. It has f/2.2-aperture and 88-degree wide-angle lens. It also has a Selfie Panorama mode to click selfies with an outlook of up to 140 degrees.

As per the information I got, ZenFone Selfie has won IF design award 2015 (Germany). It supports glove touch. It has 60ms touch respond time and is protected against finger smudges by 20nm Oleophobic anti-fingerprint coating.

ASUS ZenFone Selfie costs Rs. 15,999 and is now available for pre-booking on Flipkart.
