Adding to their already impressive lineup of ZenFones, ASUS has launched ZenFone Max which has 5000 mAH battery andis priced at Rs. 9,999.
The highlight of ZenFone Max is its 5000 mAH lithium-polymer battery which boasts of being able to power the ZenFone Max for upto 37.6 hours of 3G talk time or 32.5 hours of Wi-Fi web browsing or 72.9 hours of music playback or 22.6 hours of video playback. That sure sounds impressive for a device that costs less than ten thousand rupees. As per the information I got, the battery is powerful enough to let the device act as powerbank for other devices, that is, charge other phones.
As for other specifications, ZenFone Max is 5.2 mm thick and weighs 204 g. The device has 5.5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The visual experience in enhanced by ASUS TruVivid technology. The device is 4G LTE capable. It is equipped with a Qualcomm 8916 (Snapdragon 410) quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and a 16GB internal storage (expandable to 64GB).
As for camera, ZenFone Max has 13MP primary and 5MP secondary camera. The cameras are PixelMaster and have f/2.0-aperture lens with laser auto-focus.
