Asus Launches Updated ZenFone Max

Asus today expanded its Max Series by releasing an updated ZenFone Max, a power-packed smartphone with a 5000mAh battery. This battery on this updated device has a standby time of up 38 days. The New version will come in 4 interchangeable back cover Blue, Orange, Black and White.

ZenFone Max will available across retail outlets in India and despite the large battery the ZenFone Max has a lighter and slim body compared to the previous generation Zenfone Max and it also has a centrally placed camera on the rear.

The phone has 5.5-inch HD (1280*720) display with a 13MP rear camera capable of 4K recording. On the front it houses a 5MP. The processor on this device is upgraded from the previous version and it packs a 64bit 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa core processor with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage along with Andreno 405 GPU. Another version of the updated ZenFone Max will house 3GB Ram while rest of the configurations remains the same.

The upgraded ZenFone Max runs on Android 6.0.1 out of the box with Asus’s custom skin ZenUI on top of it. This is a dual sim phone with both the sim supporting 4G connectivity and also has a separate memory expansion slot. The New ZenFone Max ( 2GB model) is priced at Rs. 9,999 and (3GB) Rs 12,999 will be available on Flipkart. While the older version, Quad core processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM has received a price cut and is being sold for Rs 8,999, is being sold on Snapdeal.
