Asus Fonepad is available for pre-order in Taiwan 
Asustek Computer on March 20 announced it will be offering the Fonepad, 7-inch tablet with 3G voice communication function, for pre-sale in the Taiwanese market at the retail price of NT $ 8,990 or RM940 (U.S. $ 302).
The Fonepad tablet features a 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2420 processor, an ISP touch screen display at 1280 x 800 resolutions, 8GB of memory, 3.0MP main camera and 1.2 MP front one and weigh at 340g.
ASUS will be collaborating with Chunghwa Telecom selling the Fonepad combined with 2-year contract at a purchase price of NT $ 990 (RM104) and a monthly fee of NT $ 850 (RM89) or free with payment of NT $ 1,343 (RM143) with one month contract.
