Asus Chrome book Flip Is A Convertible $250 Tablet

As well as announcing the new Asus Chromebit, Google and Asus also announced another new Chrome OS device, the Asus Chromebook Flip.

The Asus Chromebook Flip is a convertible tablet that comes with an 10 inch display that has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.

Asus Chromebook Flip is the world’s first 10” convertible Chromebook with a full metal chassis, so a user can go from laptop to tablet form factor in a snap. It is ultra-thin and extremely light, for maximum portability. In order to create a bold and beautiful design on the Flip, Chrome OS has been optimized for touch with features such as Google Now, voice recognition, and virtual keyboard handwriting. Chromebook Flip is to demonstrate the power of touch and mobile on a best-in-class convertible device.

The device is powered by a Rockchip 3288 processor and comes with a choice of 2GB or 4GB of RAM and 16GB of built in storage.

The Asus Chrome book Flip also comes with 802.11ac Wifi and Bluetooth 4.0, according to Asus the device comes with up to 8 hours of battery life.

Asus will start selling their new Chrome book Flip convertible tablet in June in the US and the device will retail for $249.
