Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Poster Uncovered

Posted on the 27 February 2013 by Ningauble @AliAksoz

Looks like the next Assassin’s Creed game will be all about pirates. Ubisoft hasn’t announced anything about the next game in the franchise just yet but Ubisofts very own Yves Guillemot confirmed that the next Assassin’s Creed will take place in Carribbean and in a new time period with a new protagonist and it will be out later this year.

A picture surfaced on Kotaku yesterday showing marketing materials for something called Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. According to the person who leaked it, this poster, illustrated by Todd McFarlane, will be on store walls on Monday, March 4.

Here is the poster on the picture:

A pirate themed Assassin’s Creed game makes sense to me, since the best part of the previous Assassin’s Creed game was the sea battles. Ubisoft may want to use more of that and draw an AC game around the mechanic.

Earlier, someone claimed that he caught a glimpse of a powerpoint presentation on a woman’s laptop screen and there it was, “AC4: Black Flags, aimed for release 2013 Christmas season according to her slide. It already had a cool looking logo for it.”

Hopefully there will be a better created protagonist and a tighter story this time.
