Other Recruitment of  Assam Forest Recruitment

Age Limit: Candidates’ age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as of 01.10.2021.

Nationality: An Indian Citizen and Permanent Resident of Assam is eligible for this recruitment.

Age Relaxation: Category wise age relaxation will be as below followed.

OBC: 3 Years, SC: 5 Years, STP/H: 5 Years, PwD: 10 years, Ex-Servicemen: 2 years

Selection Procedeor for Assam Forest Recruitment

Forester-I & Forest Guards: The Selection test shall comprise

Written Test for 2 hrs:

• General Arithmetic
• General English
• General Knowledge

Qualifying candidates of the written test will have to appear on the following test.

Physical Fitness Test:

Comprising 26 Ions (for male) and 16 Ions (for female) of walking to be covered within 4 hours followed by Medical Test.

The qualified candidates for the posts of Grade – Ill will have to appear the Oral Test

Junior Assistant: The Selection test shall comprise

Written Test for 2 hrs:

• General Arithmetic
• General English
• General Knowledge.

Qualifying candidates of the written test will have to appear Computer typing and English Drafting Test.

Draftsman :

• General Mathematics
•  Drawing 
• Mensuration.

Peon, Chowkidar, Chainman, Plantation Mali, Waterman: Oral Test only.

How to apply for Assam Forest Recruitment

Application in Standard Form of Application published in Part IX of Assam Gazette along with self-attested photocopies of all testimonials and two copies of recent passport size photograph duly signed by him/her self should be addressed to the 0/0 Divisional Forest Officers (a) Dima Hasao Forest Division (West), Haflong or (b) Dima Hasao Forest Division (East), Haflong or (c) Southam Afforestation Division, Haflong on or before 15th November /2021 within the office hours, beyond which no application will be entertained under any circumstances. Candidates must bring with them the Call letter/Admit Card, Original documents, etc. at the time of written test/viva—versa

No applications will be received through post.

Call Letter/Admit Card for the written test will be issued by hand at the office of the DFO, Dima Hasao Forest Division (East), Haflong during office hours and the date will be notified after scrutiny of the application forms, documents, etc. Eligible candidates will be requested to collect their Call letter/Admit Card prior to the date of the written test/interview which will be notified
