Let’s start with some food questions.

  1. I plan on trying more new foods this summer. What was the last new dish you tried?

I haven’t tried any new dishes lately but I did buy the ingredients to make UnSloppy Joes. You simply make the sloppy joe’s according to the directions on the back on the can. Instead of using hamburger buns, you buy Grands Biscuits and roll each one of the flat. Scoop some sloppy joe mix into the center of the biscuit. Add cheese if desired. Then fold the biscuit over the mixture and use a fork to smash the sides closed. Then bake them in the oven until the biscuits are golden brown.

  1. What is one food that you did not like as a kid that you love now as an adult?

I love eating avocados and guacamole. Yummy!

  1. I know you love Mexican food, so besides Mexican food what are some of your other favorite cuisines?

Italian food is a close competitor. I also love grilled chicken.

  1. If I came to the Dallas/Fort Worth area what would be one must try local restaurant?

You would have to try Mesquite Pit in Weatherford, Texas. They make awesome grilled chicken. It is smoked over mesquite wood and the flavor is the best. Of course, there are a ton other other fabulous choices in Fort Worth or Dallas, just depends on what you are craving.
