AAF Co-host

This week I connected with Tia Marie from BecominNeurotic.  She also has another blog, called Spoons for Spoonies that is dedicated to help other people who have chronic pain or invisible illness. This week we wanted to do a fun Halloween theme swap. I hope you enjoy her questions and my answers.

Happy Halloween from Uplifting Families

  1. What is your favorite past costume as a kid? As an adult? (bonus points for photos!)

I remember one year that my mom made me a snoopy costume. She took white sweat pants and sweat shirt. Then she sewed on black spots it and made me some floppy ears.

Then one year I dressed up as a cheerleader.

  1.  Are you dressing up this year? Any fun plans?

I gave up dressing up for Halloween a few years ago. My daughter did put a princess tiara in my hair last night. I went with it.

  1. Have you ever done themed costumes with your whole family? If not, what one would you be willing to do?

We haven’t done family theme costumes. The kids are the only ones that usually dress up.

  1. Do you and your husband take a “fee” from your kiddos’ candy while sorting and checking it?

Of course, we take the candy that we want. Besides that the kids don’t need to eat all of the candy. We allow them to have several pieces on Halloween night and the day after. Then after that we ration it so that it lasts a long time. The chocolate is usually the first to go.

  1. What is your favorite candy bar of all time?

I like Snickers, Milky Way, and Twix. I also like smarties and sweet tarts.
