Ashanti has regenerated the cover of her album for her recent investment into Web3. She is releasing an NFT series, and this action makes her the initial black female artist to co-found a Web3 company.
Ashanti entered the scene in the early 2000s and played her solo start. Thereafter, she has been able to grow her personal talents and brand to stay relevant for more than two decades. With this next steps in her career, she has cooperated with EQ Exchange, a female-run Web3 company.

Ashanti transitions her concentration on launching an NFT series
It is been twenty years since her first album and for this NFT album she has remade her initial album drop cover. As mentioned earlier, EQ allows artists to use their own IP. “It is so essential that we get the message to artists that they should have their own IP,” Ashanti said.
The music industry has long been an unjust industry, with record companies basically owning artists’ rights. With the advent of NFTs and Web3, we hope that this does not happen again. Ashanti aims to advocate for change and inspire people to stand up themselves.
Artists have long been experiencing unfair royalty fees and are unable to produce 100% of what they want. Ashanti is aware of this and is very optimistic about the future of a much fairer music industry.
