This week, new NFT projects like Art Gobblers and Keepers beat out old favorites like CryptoPunks and Azuki in terms of sales volume. Data from CryptoSlam shows that over 172,900 purchasers spent over than $164.6 million on NFTs in the last week. This is a huge 50% increase from the week before.
Overall, the number of NFT transactions is down 13%, to about 841,900. This week, the projects with the most sales were Art Gobblers, Bored Ape Yacht Club, Keepers, and Sorare.
From what CryptoSlam says about NFT sales and changes in blockchain volume over the past week:
This week, there are a lot of big NFT mints, so sales of Ethereum are up 89%. The number of sales on the blockchain has nearly doubled since last week. Also, sales of Solana and ImmutableX are up by 9% and 21%, respectively.
During its first week on the market, Art Gobblers, a new NFT project based on Ethereum, sold more than $40 million more than any other project.
Sales of Cardano are down 46% and sales of Polygon are down 76%. This could be because the Ethereum blockchain is getting so much attention.
This week, sales for Reddit Collectible Avatars are down 83%, and the project based in Polygon only made $1.1 million. Still, sales for the underdog project are on track to reach $10 million soon.
Sales of CryptoPnks and Gods Unchained keep going up, with $6.4 million and $5.9 million coming in, respectively.
Also on CryptoSlam, these are the NFT projects that sold the most:
Art Gobblers: $50.9 million (0% because of mint)
Bored Ape Yacht Club: $9.1 million (+36%)
Keepers: $8.4 million (0% because of mint)
Sorare: $7.4 million (-7.6%)
Art Blocks: $6.5 million (+51%)

This week, sales of Doodles are up 61% and brought in $1.6 million. Maybe collectors are getting ready for Doodles 2, since the project has been pretty quiet since September, when it was announced that it had raised $54 million.
The ApeCoin DAO approved its new bug bounty program and gave $4.4 million to protect its new token staking system from being hacked. The program will go live on a program called Immunefi for hacking that is done in a good way.
Gabriel Leydon, the CEO of Digidaigaku, had his Twitter account hacked after he changed the SIM card in his phone at an AT&T store. The hacker tricked Digidaigaku collectors into going to a fake Digidaigaku drop to steal their crypto.
On Oct. 24, an Azuki Golden Skateboard NFT sold for about $404,000 (309ETH), which was a record for the project.
