From December 1st to December 3rd, 2022, Art Basel Miami Beach will host the exhibition Performance in Code, Deciphering Value in Generative Art, which will feature a notable display of Tezos blockchain non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in collaboration with the generative art platform fxhash and in cooperation with Serpentine Arts Technologies.
This year, exhibition visitors will be able to mint and claim a highlighted NFT work of generative art in real time. You can claim your NFT quickly by just scanning a QR code.
Through a collaborative art exhibition, the event will encourage participants to explore the concept of generative art and demonstrate the uniqueness of NFTs. Additionally, artists from the Tezos community will be featured in a conversation series examining the relationship between generative art and blockchain technology.
Over the event, thirteen other artists will share the exhibition space. The live minting experience of the art installation, in which visitors scan a QR code to initiate the autonomous creation of an original, one-of-a-kind artwork by the artists, is made possible through a cooperation with fxhash.
When the installation is done, the rendering commences, and the work is shown on the screen. Right away, the customer gets points. As time goes on, visitors will be able to see the value of an export display, which will be shown as a percentage.
The events will take place on Friday, December 2 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and on Saturday, December 3 from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm. On Saturday, December 3, Serpentine Arts Technologies will host a panel discussion called “Hybrid Worlds: Breaking Creative Boundaries.” The following panels and more will be part of the Tezos NFT Speaker Series:

How influential will DAOs be in influencing collective action among creative communities?
Tezos is a blockchain that can evolve by self-upgrading. This is accomplished by a constant voting process among stakeholders to determine when and what modifications should be made. Tezos is hence considered self-correcting.
Two advancements are offered by the Tezos protocol: formal verification and on-chain governance. Formal verification enables mathematical proof that smart contracts are correct. On-chain governance enables the network to upgrade without hard forks and to more easily reverse bad conduct.
