Around the House

Here are a few glimpses at what’s going on around the house.

I’m halfway done with adding these Greek key overlays to our Ikea Malm dresser. We have two dressers pushed together, so technically I’m done with one and need to finish the other. I also hung the C. Jere sculpture in the hallway.

The campaign chests are in place as nightstands and I replaced our closet curtains with these deep blue velvet ones (note that these are cheaper in the store than online–only $49.99 a pair!).

Our dining room wallpaper is finally done and I put a pair of vintage lamps from eBay on our buffet. I’m on the hunt for some drum shades for them–I’m thinking a white shade that I can add a skinny black trim to will look good.

I also blew up one of my iPhone photos to put in a Neilsen frame I thrifted. I need to replace the glass, but it’s otherwise ready to go.
