So no BEA for this girl. Bummer.Instead, I'll be participating in Armchair BEA.
I am by no means a genre snob, but I do tend to gravitate toward fantasy and paranormal novels. I think because the novels are so completely different from reality, that I love reading them. Anything involving vampires, ghosts, fairy tale creatures, and the like. I am not a fan of zombies tough and the only zombie book I've liked is Warm Bodies.
I'm also a fan of contemporary novels. Sometimes it's nice to come back to the real world and read about situations that could really happen and are a little more believable. When it comes to contemporary, I'm not too picky. I like the romances, think Nicholas Sparks, and ones that deal with real life issues, like Freshman Forty.
I'm also a big fan of anything with a good mystery. Murder, crime, suspense, that kind of thing. Also, historical fiction is pretty bad ass, too.
See! I love all genres! Well, most genres. I'm not a huge fan of non-fiction (though I have read a few biographies) and erotica.
