Arizona Gets Tough on Gun Crime - In Certain CasesArthur J. Tineo
The Washington Post reports on yet another school shooting. Normally when an adult shoots at or near a school he gets little more than a warning. Gun owners love to give each other the benefit of the doubt. But when you're in Arizona and you look like Mr. Tineo, you can be sure to pay for your crimes.
Bail was set Friday at $2 million for a man accused of firing a rifle at a southeastern Arizona high school, injuring a 17-year-old boy who was watching a baseball game.

The student suffered minor cuts from flying glass when the car he was in was shot at Thursday afternoon.

Tineo, of Willcox, was booked into Cochise County Jail on suspicion of three counts of attempted murder, plus charges of assault, endangerment, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, prohibited possession of a firearm, disorderly conduct with a weapon, and discharging a weapon within city limits.

Weaver said Thursday that it appeared Tineo was firing indiscriminately.
