From womenswear to swimwear, each sector of the fashion industry has their own Fashion Week where the designers showcase their latest collections to the world but with all the billions of dollars the lingerie industry brings in each year, there was never a special place to show off beautiful lace adorned items…until now. Starting on February 22, 2013, the first annual Lingerie Fashion week will commence in New York with high-end presentations, catwalks, and a lots of sexy lingerie. While it may be the naughty little secret we wear under our garments, lingerie is becoming more and more of a household name and designers everywhere are flourishing in the ever-growing market of intimates. Lingerie Fashion Week plans to take the glitz and glam of established Fashion Weeks and bring lingerie to the forefront with tantalizing designer fashions for women to swoon over.
