The Brooklyn Depot is a popular restaurant situated on Grey Street. For the Urban Weekender they have their Special BOM (Burger of the Month) on offer for $18. If you are keen to try out something unique and something different, order their Chicken Fried Steak Burger. It is a milk bun burger with chicken fried steak, some mushroom pepper sauce, sautéed onions, a few slices of pickles and provolone. We loved the Brooklyn Depot cocktails as an accompaniment to the burger! Yummm!
South Brisbane, QLD
The Cowch Dessert Cocktail Bar is a truly adorable and colorful little bar, situated on Grey Street. They have a super deal on for the Urban Weekender. Any one who comes in and buys a cocktail each (minimum 2) will receive a FREE small churros valued at $9.95. Those churros were WAY too yummy!! Probably the best churros I have had in Australia! The trick at Cowch is to resist trying out every single item on their menu! Go check it out and you will see what I mean!
Fortitude Valley, QLD
Bucci Resaurant is one of the favourite Italian restaurants amongst the locals in Brisbane. Head to James Street in Fortitude Valley to get your Aperol Spritz fix, with a side of arancini balls for FREE!

South Bank is perfect for a day out! So, whilst you might be lunching & dining yourself to bliss, do take some time out to also enjoy a stroll around South Bank itself! The flowers are in bloom and we especially loved the Jacaranda trees lining the river.
Of course, with the hot weather we have been having, we also highly recommend you take your swimmers along, so you can enjoy a refresh and cool down. The Streets Beach is also popular amongst the adults, whilst the kids will enjoy burning some energy at either the Boat Pool or the Aquativity.
