The real question is, “How could you not?”

If you take just one listen, it’s easy to see why.
The song hooks listeners immediately with catchy beats, giving a commercial quality, but retains the emotion and heart that Josiah puts into all of his songs. Leming produces gorgeous analogies for a lost love (“You’ve got a room in my head/You abandoned it and left me with a mess” and “You’ve got an unconscious heart/and you’re coming to me looking for a spark”) as he builds up to the chorus, where an ultimatum is given: Are you gonna love him or not?
The music video for the song supplements to the lyrics, as Leming searches for love in the city, and waits by the water for an answer. (It also features some awesomely awkward moves from Josiah!)
Lyrically and musically brilliant, “Love Me or Not” has a radio ready quality to it, and I wouldn’t be surprised if this single took off. “Love Me or Not” is definitely one of my favorite songs at the moment, and is sure to be stuck in your head for days.
It’s clear to see why I’m choosing to love him, rather than not.
