Archive: Two Years Ago On Our Blog… Tom Shares His Favourite #London Movie It’s The Daily Constitutional Film Festival. And it’s programmed by London Walks Guides and London Walkers. Which is the greatest London movie of them all? The best performance in a London-set film? Your favorite London movie location?
As usual, we want to hear from you – send us your favorite London movie nominations to the usual email address, get in touch with us on Twitter @londonwalks or leave a comment at the bottom of this post.
LW Guide Tom adds…
No. 23: It Happened Here
How about the Kevin Brownlow 'cult' film 'It Happened Here' made in 1964 where bizarrely Nazi Germany invades and overruns the UK. Part shot in Notting Hill and mentioned on my walk in that neighbourhood.

Adam adds a P.S… on a similar theme, here’s an earlier post on Len Deighton’s alternative history thriller SS-GB.  (It will help you get your thinking caps on – we’re looking for your favorite London books soon!)
Tom Tom is a barrister, Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, Examiner for the Blue Badge Guides Course, travel writer and another creme de la creme professionally qualified Blue Badge Guide (he's the Chairman of the Guild of Guides Association). Follically challenged but motorcycling virile, his graceful wit, classic elegance of mind, infectious giggle, and gentle and generous heart make him the delight of all who know him.
26/5/15: DC Editor Adam adds… Catch up with all the London Walks guides' favorite London movies HERE.
