The Arch-based Antergos shutdown last year has led to the arrival of its newest successor, EndeavorOS. It was started by former Antergos moderator Bryan Poerwoatmodjo, who is now Endeavor OS Project Manager and Community Manager.
Since the first stable release of EndeavorOS on July 15, 2019, it has been steadily progressing to provide the simplest and most user-friendly Arch Linux distribution with graphical online and offline installer.
Now, to further expand EndeavorOS 'footprint, Bryan Poerwoatmodjo recently ad a new project to offer EndeavorOS for ARM computers as well.
Similar to its current collaboration between EndeavorOS x86_64 and Arch Linux, EndeavorOS ARM will also aim to deliver the same experience on devices using ARM (Acorn RISC Machine) based processors.

Of course, EndeavorOS is not the first operating system to offer distribution support for the ARM processor architecture. But it seems quite clear that in addition to Intel and AMD, more and more laptops are showing great interest in ARM.
The latest example is Apple's official announcement at WWDC 2020 that it will ship custom ARM silicon chips to its Mac computers.
Therefore, various Linux distributions already provide images for ARM devices such as Ubuntu, Arch Linux, Manjaro. Now this one year old EndeavorOS will also enter the list.
So far, little information has been revealed. However, Bryan has announced that the ARM distribution will launch on September 19, 2020. On that day, you will be able to download EndeavorOS ARM images from the new official website. here.
