Plot: A man is taken to a small clinic in Guam with mysterious bites on him. This sparks a search for what could have caused such wounds. A group of men and women fly to the island he lived on to investigate the situation. Due to technical problems, their small plane crashes and they are stranded on the island. After some time, they come to find the man’s village is empty and that strange new breeds of killer arachnids have appeared all about the forest.
Verdict: B Horror Standard
Story: The moment you see the dreadful CGI in the opening sequences you are left to wonder what will follow, don’t judge the film on those effects it gets better. The usual investigation of a mysterious island with the group of people who each have a specialist set of skills works well. Having the hidden past of the pilot keeps you guessing but you would be able to work it out easily. You are left to wonder how many and what type of spider(s) are hunting the group down. Easy to follow and not just a film with people getting picked off early. When it comes to this type of film you don’t expect the best of the best story just something easy to follow and it gives you that. (6/10)
Actor Review
Chris Porter: Valentine the lead security of the mission and along with his two soldiers has to keep everyone safe on the island. With years of experience and a cocky side that shows his leadership skills he does make a good leader for the mission. Good performance making the role lighter than it could have been. (6/10)

Alex Reid: Mercer the pilot of the mission, who hates spiders and is searching for someone on the island. She turns into the action heroine trying to take down the spiders before she because the latest victim. Good performance making a good action horror B star. (7/10)

Jose Sancho: Dr Leon the man trying to figure out what is going on using his medical skills to find a way to cure people who have been bitten by the unknown creature. Typical Doctor performance. (5/10)
Neus Asensi: Susana the nurse to Dr Leon who tries to use some of her knowledge to help keep people alive after the bites. Typical nurse role that looks out her depth in the jungle. (5/10)
Ravil Isyanov: Henry a spider specialist who has come along on the mission to help identify which spider has left the wounds, but what he finds is a new species that could be the deadliest one yet. Good performance creating the most interesting character. (7/10)

Director Review: Jack Sholder – Created a good B-Horror film that does all what he needed to do. (6/10)
Horror: Good basic horror style to create some of the spider/creature kills. (6/10)
Settings: Stuck on an island in the middle of the ocean makes good isolation for the horror film. (8/10)
Special Effects: If you forget the awful CGI in the opening sequences the practical effects are good. (6/10)
Suggestion: Horror fans should give this a go, it’s fun and does keep entertained but lacks real frights. (Horror Fans Try)
