Apple Will Let Users Bypass CAPTCHA with iOS 16, iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura: Report

Posted on the 21 June 2022 by Geetikamalik

Apple iOS 16, iPados 16 and MacOS Ventura can come with one important change: the ability to cut captcha on most websites. Captcha which stands for “a completely automatic public touring test to distinguish computers and humans” is what many of us meet every day when navigating through websites and applications. You are asked to enter a set of letters and numbers in the box or identify traffic lights from the box from the picture to prove that you are human and not a bot. And sometimes it is very annoying to find out. But it looks like the new version of Apple software for iPhone and iPad will allow users to have this -bypass.

According to Macrumors, Apple has exhibited details about how this will work in the developer video as part of WWDC 2022. This report adds that the feature can be found in settings under Apple ID> Password & Security> Automatic Verification.

After being activated, Apple explained that iCloud will verify the Apple ID user and account device, delete the need for any captcha prompt in the application or website. This system presents personal access tokens to applications or websites and Apple says this does not endanger the user’s identity or personal information.

This report adds that cloudflare and quickly – two main content delivery network providers (CDN)) have announced support for this, which should mean that many websites and applications will get this ability.

Beta developers for all upcoming Apple software are available for download and installation. It is recommended that regular users may not install Beta developers on their main iPhone, iPad, and Mac, considering that it usually has many bugs and other problems. Public beta will be available next month.

Official buildings are usually released in September after Apple announced the next iPhone generation, which this year is the iPhone 14. Apple is expected to continue with four options this year, however, there will be no mini variant. This year’s lineup is the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
