Apple could try one day to build a MacBook that wirelessly charges other devices like an iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch. This is evident from newly issued patents for two-way charging, Patently reported to Apple on Tuesday. The attached images illustrate the placement of multiple inductive charging coils under the frame of the laptop that allow users to charge multiple devices at the same time.
The patents also include a picture of an iPad charging an iPhone and Apple Watch.

Apple writes that adding wireless charging can be especially helpful when users don't want or can't find separate power supplies for different devices. Samsung currently allows users Charge their devices wirelessly from the back of some Galaxy phones via the wireless Qi standard.
The iPhone manufacturer's patents do not guarantee that this will become a reality. That comes after Apple has canceled its AirPower wireless charging mat Project in 2019 said the product did not meet its standards.
Apple didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
