Apple launching new low cost MacBook Air laptop
Apple has recently launched an all together newer version of MacBook Air laptop which has become talk of the time due to a striking factor. By dropping the price by $100, their new MacBook laptop has made a great buzz amongst the Apple lovers. Installed with latest Intel Haswell processors, the new series of MacBook has indeed made it to the watchers list. The laptop was previously announced during the tenure of Steve Jobs in 2008. But the actual product has been launched and made visible on their website a couple of days back. Apple claims the device to be the cheapest portable MacBook Air ever priced and to be sold by Apple. The firm has great expectations from the device to eat up a great market share and sales of Windows laptops. Philip Schiller of Apple said, “With MacBook Air starting at $899, there’s no reason to settle for anything less than a Mac.” He also added, “Macs have never been more popular, and today we’ve boosted the performance and lowered the price of MacBook Air so even more People can experience the perfect everyday notebook.”
Seeing a great demand for the new Macbook Air, Apple has decided to launch upon its smartwatch iWatch as well in the market. This incredible watch is said to club alongwith MacBook Air as well. Philip Schiller said, “We have the most amazing developer community in the world and have a great week planned for them. Every year the WWDC audience becomes more diverse, with developers from almost every discipline you can imagine and coming from every corner of the globe. We look forward to sharing with them our latest advances in iOS and OS X so they can create the next generation of great apps.”
Specifications of MacBook Air:
Apple has decided to launch its cheapest and affordable MacBook air in two different versions. The MacBook will come in 13 inch and 11 inch screen size.
MacBook Air 13 inch:
With a battery life of 12 hours, the laptop promises to give great functionality. The device is equipped with 1.4 GHz processor with a Turbo Boost which can speed up to 2.7 GHz. There are again two different versions in this with respect to memory. The inbuilt memory is 4GB which comes with two different versions of flash storage i.e. 128 GB and 256 GB. The price of 128 GB is starting at $999 and $1199 respectively.
MacBook Air 11 inch:
The battery life of MacBook 11 inch is pretty less at 9 hours. It is also equipped with the same 1.4 GHz processor with a Turbo Boost which can speed up to 2.7 GHz. There are again two different versions in this with respect to memory. The inbuilt memory is 4GB which comes with two different versions of flash storage i.e. 128 GB and 256 GB. The price of 128 GB is starting at $899 and $1099 respectively.
