The iPhone 14 is still another year than seeing the light of the day but leakage and reports about the next series have been going on. We previously covered a very different design route that Apple would take with the introduction of the iPhone 14 in 2022 and also changed the cellphone lineup. Now we have a report that the iPhone 14 might also get 2TB storage options. MyDrivers claims the Apple iPhone 14 series will come with double the maximum storage available in the iPhone 13 lineup this year. However, the possibility of this 2TB storage variant will be limited to the iPhone 14 Pro model.
Apple doubles the maximum storage option on the iPhone 13 to 1TB this year. Now, MyDry reports iPhone 14 will likely come up with 2TB onboard storage options in 2022. Given the large capacity, this variant tends to be reserved for the ‘pro’ model. Vanilla iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max may get 1TB storage, which will be a lump of 512GB offered now on the iPhone 13.
While 2TB storage on smartphones may seem excessive by large margins, the upcoming iPhone camera features may require additional storage space. The iPhone 13 Pro lineup currently only allows you to photograph 4K Prores recordings at 30fps on a 256GB variant and on it. The Pro iPhone 13 128GB model is limited to 1080p prores recording at 30fps. However, considering how early this rumor has found us, the distinguity must be issued that this might not be translated into reality.
The iPhone 13 lineup starts at 128GB of storage and rises to 512GB while the ‘pro’ model ranges from 128GB in capacity to 1TB. The iPhone 13 lineup starts at Rs 69,900 for the iPhone 13 128GB mini and up to RS 1,79,900 for the iPhone 13 Pro Max 1TB. If this price is too high for you, the iPhone 12 and iPhone 11 models are available at significant discounts during the ongoing Amazon and Flipkart celebration sales.
