Appear.in is a business application that allows you to share video meetings, screen share and video conferences.
Appear.in will be changing it’s name to Whereby.com.
Why did we have to change the name?
We had a long-standing trademark dispute over the appear․in name that resulted in no longer being able to use it. The old name has served us and our millions of users very well over the years, but our brand was due for an upgrade.
So while it’s unfortunate to have to have to make this change right now it is necessary. We recognize this will create some mixed feelings for you, our users.
However it’s also important to know the service you know and love is staying the same.
So we’re taking the opportunity to rebrand with our future vision in mind: changing the way people work. Our new name, Whereby, reflects our vision of enabling people to work where they want to and by what means they want. We’re excited about our new name, and we will continue to bring you the same great service with several new product updates coming soon!
