Verdict on Apollo 13: Survival
Apollo 13: Survival is a documentary following the events of Apollo 13. We get archive footage from before the mission, introducing us to the crew, with the most famous and experienced member Jim Lovell. His family life and how they adapted to his mission into space.
This shows how the press had lost interest in space missions until this mission saw something go wrong. It has since gone down in history as one of the most difficult missions seen and one of the greatest survival stories.
We get to hear how the different astronauts dealt with the problems they faced. Jim’s family were left helpless and came together and the mission control looked to develop a solution with limited equipment.
This is one of the most famous stories and seeing it from another point of view is fantastic. If you are a fan of the story and space mission, you are going to love this. Also, if you want to check out a new view of the incident, this shows more of the calm collective plan to save the day.
