Plot: When a mysterious technological blackout plunges Ireland into anarchy and chaos, a group of failed washed up clowns are forced to traverse the country for one last shot at their dreams.

Story: Apocalypse Clown starts when journalist Jenny Malone (De Bhrun) is assigned to report on a clown funeral. However, she ends up meeting her one-night stand clown Bobo (Earl) along with colourful clowns. Street clown Funzo (Palamides), rookie Pepe (Foley) and experienced high society clown The Great Alphonso (Kaye).
When the funeral leads to a brawl, they find themselves in jail. However, that night technology blackout led to the world coming to a standstill. Now, the clowns team up to figure out what to do next as they travel around Ireland.
Verdict on Apocalypse Clown
Apocalypse Clown is a horror comedy following a group of clowns that travel around Ireland after an apocalyptic event. It sees them dealing with different problems and threats as they look for safety. All while trying to keep people entertained with their clown skills.
This is a funny horror comedy that uses the apocalyptic environment to create an overwhelming series of wacky adventures. It gives the movie a Mad Max feeling, even if the end of the world is only the day before. The comedy flies from the clown’s behavior with Natalie Palamides stealing every single scene and Funzo. If you want to watch a wacky horror comedy, this is an excellent choice.
