It’s a while since I posted something from my wardrobe. My latest inspiration was none other than the charming lady of Bollywood Anushka Sharma. Trust me, I don’t copy her. She is just one of the actresses I follow for her acting skills & super cool attitude in movies. Anushka is bck with her latest release Phillauri.
Anushka Sharma movie Phillauri has released yesterday & getting good reviews. You can read movies review at Phillauri Review. The idea is brilliant since I have not seen such beautiful & friendly ghost in my life. Philauri is the story of a female ghost of Phillaur village Punjab.
Alright, my today’s story is about my wardrobe inspired by Phillauri Punjab look. I love Punjab anyways for it’s food, farms & fashion. Punjab is soothing in all ways though I am Haryana. There is always science behind Indian rituals.
My cousins engagement function & as always I was unprepared. The moment I turned my TV on, there was this clips of Phillauri movie trailer where Shashi-the ghost is talking to Kanan. And, I decided to wear my old skirt I bought 10 years back to fuse with my kurta I bought from Shoppers stop. Women in Punjab & Haryana used to wear long skirts in daily lifestyle & dancing with swirl must enchanting then.

Minimal is the trend of fashion worldwide. Since it was a day-time occasion with family, I had to add little crisp of Indian colors. This net dupatta with gota lace was perfect match with kurta 7 my outfit was ready for the day.

A simple watch is one single accessory never goes fail for any outfit I wear. Yellow is my love always. Orange Dupatta adds a little more to the spark of the entire look with yellow kurta.
Traditional Punjab dressing is wearing long kurta’s with skirts (Ghaghra) & jutti’s. You can chose your jutti’s according to your color choices.
I am not a heavy make-up person since it gives a tiresome look in short period of time. I tried orange lipstick shade from Faceshop & Lakme eye liner without wink.
