logoDirector: Brandon Cronenberg

Writer: Brandon Cronenberg (Screenplay)

Starring: Caleb Landry Jones, Sarah Gordon, Douglas Smith, Malcom McDowell, Salvatore Antonio

Plot: In a world where the celebrity obsession has reached a new level, when a celebrity becomes sick their fans can now get infected with the same virus. Syd March (Jones) works in the Lucas Clinic where people can get the infection but he also smuggles out the viruses to sell on the black market. One day when he takes the virus from Hannah Geist (Gordon) he ends up being infected himself with a mystery virus and must race against time ti figure out what the virus is before it kills him.

Verdict: Outside the box slow moving thriller

Story: As you know by now I love a film that is different and this story is that. The story is a very good take on how we know live in a world obsessed with celebrities and just how far people will go to be like their new idols. It also shows that people will be driven by greed and feed on people’s desperation. (9/10)

Actor Review: Caleb Landry Jones – Syd a man who must fight to survive after his own greed pushes him too far. Good performance showing that this guy is ready for lead roles in films. Plays each scene with a slow moving fast thinking pace. (8/10)

Actor Review: Sarah Gordon – Hannah Geist the celebrity everyone wants to gain her virus. Good supporting role but doesn’t get enough scene time to show the character off. (7/10)

Believability: We as people will always become obsessed with celebrity and this is good example of how far people will go. (3/10)

Chances of Tears: (0/10)

Settings: With many settings of dark areas with bright colours make the scenes more impactful. (8/10)

Suggestion: I will suggest this to all horror fans but this will only be suggestible to a select group of people as it is very slow moving which will reward in the end. (Try It)
