Months ago I wanted a new dog. I felt like there was room for one more. As you have read, things happened and one of my beloved dachshunds became ill and had to be put to sleep. I kept in contact with the breeder I was e-mailing and soon another liter was about to be born. I felt like a new mommy again as I waited anxiously to hear how many babies she had and if there was a boy. Sure enough, there was one boy in that liter. He was meant for me. I knew it the moment she e-mailed me. 
Each week, I would e-mail her and ask about him. How was he doing? How big is he? She would send photos.
Yes, I would pet the computer screen when I saw them. It is perfectly normal. All weirdos, I mean folks do that. Especially ones who want to hold their new babies so much.
He looks like he is saying to come get him. Love at first sight for sure. There is room in my heart for one more and he will help ease the pain of my loss.
He is growing so fast! I only have to wait a few more days. My baby will be here. I can hardly think of anything else this week. So, just in case my uh somewhat “normal” posts are late, you can see why. Thanks for following my journey:)
