Disney has unveiled the official title of Ant-Man 3 and announced that Kathryn Newton will play Scott Lang's daughter in this new installment.
The title of the third installment of Ant-man has been revealed! The feature film directed by Peyton Reed - already at the helm of the previous sections - will be called Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. As a reminder, at the end of the second part, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) found himself stuck in the quantum dimension. In view of the title, this third film should therefore take place in part in this dimension.
On the casting side, Michelle Pfeiffer is reprising her role as Janet van Dyne and will probably be of great help to Scott since she was stuck for several years in the Quantum Realm. Jonathan Majors is for his part confirmed in the role of the super-villain Kang the Conqueror.

Disney has also announced that Kathryn Newton - seen on The Society and soon to star in the horror film Freaky - will star Cassie Lang, Scott's daughter. As a reminder, the character was already in Avengers: Endgame and was played by Emma Fuhrmann. Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly and Michael Douglas are obviously back.
Filming for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will begin in June 2021.
