A woman who was arrested by Panadura North Police has died while she was taking to the police station.
She had been arrested on the charge of illegal possession of alchohol.
Police said that she fell ill while taken to the police station and she died after being admitted to the Panadura Hospital. It has been revealed that the woman was receiving treatment for many illnesses she had. The deceased woman was a 51 year old resident of Panadura, Diggala.
