We have become the custodians of another Vera Effigies relic of the Holy Face. Touched to the original Veil of Veronica, the True Cross, and the Spear of Longinus, this relic on linen cloth was engraved at the Vatican upon order of Pope Pius IX, after the original miracle that took place in 1849.
