2 days ago We showed you a video about Myspace and making a comeback. But here is a another heart warming comeback story. And if your a sports fan this is up there with Rudy. In 2005, Adam Greenberg, a Chicago Cub at the time, was hit in the head on his first pitch, at his first at bat in the Major Leagues. Needless to say he has never played in the MLB since then, Battling vertigo from his injury. He has played independent ball and has even played on the Israeli’s National Baseball Team. With help from a Documentary Film Maker and Cub Fanatic, Matt Liston started a campaign named One at Bat (Website) bringing attention to Adam Greenberg’s story and hopes of getting him at least one at bat back in the Major Leagues. Let just say it worked, and this morning on the Today Show he was offered a one day contract by a MLB Team. We should all tune in to his game when he bats.
