Hey Guys!
EA has only gone an got a brand new sequel on the way for it's Battlefield series! Powered by DICE’s beautiful Frostbite engine, Battlefield 4 will shoot its way on to consoles and PCs this autumn with a few new gameplay tactics and gorgeous graphics thrown in. Read on for the first gameplay trailer right here.
EA revealed the shooter yesterday at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, and kicked off the announcement with a 17 playthrough trailer that jumps right into the action. It's footage starts off with a difficult underwater situation and reveals you’ll be playing as a character known as Recker, who barks orders at the rest of his squad.
I found that the gameplay was extremely similar to that of Battlefield 3, it looks as if you're just paying for a new storyline. The graphics seem very similar and the realism is still there. It feels as if it has just been rushed, view the trailer below!!
One of the differences are that your progress through the main campaign will also be tracked online, so you are always competing with your friends even if you’re not directly playing together, plus you can expect all the usual online multiplayer mess.
Ready to take fire? Pre-orders are already rolling out for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 for £45, and you’ll grab the Premium expansion pack for free if you plonk down your hard-earned cash now. There’s also a Digital Deluxe edition on EA’s Origin download store for PC gamers which includes the base game and bonus in-game items, and if you pre-order that, you’ll get the Premium expansion pack and access to the Battlefield 4 multiplayer beta too, as well as losing £55!! Don't EA just love taking our money?
