Anna Paquin (Sookie Stackhouse) will be joining the WIGS web network on YouTube for the series Susanna. Deadline reported the news that Paquin would be joining the latest show from the female centered web channel earlier this week. She will play a new mother named Katie who develops postpartum depression after the birth of her child.
Maggie Grace of Lost is slated to play the title role of Susanna. She is described as an up and coming investment banker who must take care of her sister Katie and the new baby when Katie is hospitalized for postpartum depression. Complicating matters for Susanna is a huge business opportunity that she has to keep pursuing while helping her sister.
Production on the series has already begun with WIGS co-founder Jon Avnet directing. This isn’t the first time a True Blood cast member starred in a WIGS production. Paquin’s co-star and husband Stephen Moyer (Bill Compton) was featured in one of the first series Jan.
