Anna Paquin’s Movie Margaret to Be Released

Posted on the 04 August 2011 by Tbfansource @tbfansource

2006_margaret_002Before Anna Paquin became the blonde telepathic waitress Sookie Stackhouse, she shot a film entitled Margaret directed by Kenneth Lonergan. The movie wrapped in 2005 and has never been released until now.  According to Indiewire blog, The Playlist, the movie has been plagued with issues since filming stopped. Margaret tells the story of a tragic bus accident through the eyes of a high school student who searches for deeper meaning after the event. It is said that the film has echoes of September 11th survivor’s guilt.

Co-Starring Mark Ruffalo, Matt Damon, Matthew Broderick, Jean Reno and Olivia Thirlby, director Lonergan’s biggest problem with the film was getting it down to two hours. That combined with the movie going missing several times over the years, it was thought that the movie would never be released.

But on September 30th, 2011, fans of Anna and the other actors will get to see the film actor Mark Ruffalo hailed as a masterpiece.

So what do you think Truebies? Are you excited to see Anna Paquin in another work (and hair color) outside of True Blood? Tell me in the comments below.
