Animoca Brands and its subsidiary TinyTap will auction off a second set of NFTs

Tomorrow, Animoca Brands Corporation Limited and its subsidiary TinyTap, the leading platform for user-generated educational games, will begin auctioning the second series of Teacher-Author Publisher NFT on the OpenSea Marketplace.

TinyTap is a platform that lets teachers make and share interactive educational content without having to write any code. When educators use this content, the teachers get a portion of the revenue made from it.

TinyTap’s recently announced Publisher NFTs utilize Web3 technology and the community to increase earning potential for educators, generate new earning and promotion opportunities for co-publishers, and enable direct learning development within the community.

Teachers on TinyTap currently earn income by creating content inside a conventional Web2 framework, but Web3-based Publisher NFTs enable them to significantly increase their earning potential.

Participating teachers earn fifty percent of the net proceeds from the auction of Publisher NFTs associated with their courses and ten percent of any ongoing revenue generated by such courses.

In the meanwhile, buyers of Publisher NFTs are entitled to gain up to 80% of any revenue generated by their NFT courses due to their promotional efforts.

“The success of the first TinyTap Publisher NFT auction demonstrated that NFTs can be leveraged to benefit educators and educational content creators,” said Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands.

“We look forward to the upcoming second auction this week as we continue to work on developing this novel use case for NFTs in 2023 and beyond.”

TinyTap demonstrated the viability of Publisher NFTs in November with its first auction of Publisher NFTs, which generated 138.926 ETH, or about $228,000. 67.7 ETH was paid to the teachers who wrote the text attached to the NFTs.

The most valuable NFT was Learn English with Gabi, which made 22.9 ETH (about $37,600) for its inventor, Gabi Klaf.
