The Vienna State Opera announced the new 2015/2016 season today.
Sort of breaking news, I must say. Angela Gheorghiu is scheduled to perform on April 9 and April 16 together with Jonas Kaufmann and Bryn Terfel. Remembering the best Tosca I've seen, the one in London a few years ago. So I'll see it again!
There are two more performances with Angela as Tosca, on February 7 and 10, with Jorje de Leon (Mario) and Evgeny Nikitin (Scarpia).
