I loved the Angel spin off TV show. It started slow but grew into something truly amazing. So when I heard Angel and Faith were getting their own comic series I was so stoked! This series has been awesome. At times I have found myself looking forward to this series even more than Buffy. It has brought in some of the best characters from the TV series and introduced us to some great newbies.
Issue 24 finds us at the climax of the ‘season’. It’d be part 1 of a the typical 2 parter season finale we would have seen on the WB. We get to see an epic battle with Angel and Faith and the big bad brother and sister team. They are trying to bring magic back into the world in a very disgusting and awesome way. I love how it ties into Buffy season 8 and all the fall out of Angel being Twilight and Buffy destroying the seed. I can’t wait to see how it ends and ties into Buffy’s upcoming finale. Both seasons and been stellar. I’m so happy they continue in this medium, but it hurts I can’t see them in live action on my TV each week.
