Right after I mention it still being a factor in my last bubble show post, NBC has picked up Constantine for the fall season. The show stars Matt Ryan as Detective John Constantine, based on the Hellblazer comic book series.
Also, NBC picked up Mysteries Of Laura, starring Debra Messing.
NBC is still feeling out its comedy pilots, but A To Z, Bad Judge, One Big Happy, and Mission Control are at the front of the pack. NBC already has 3 comedy pilots picked up, plus at least the returning Parks and Recreation to count on. With probably 2-3 more bubble shows getting picked up, it’s a safe bet that there’s a spot in NBC’s lineup for at least one of those four, possibly two or three.
