As expected, The Purge: Anarchy led last nights openers, grossing 2.6M with late shows starting at 8PM. It beat out Sex Tape, which pulled in 1.1M starting at 7PM. It did not, however, beat the original Purge, which made 3.4M in late shows starting at 10PM last year.
Planes: Fire and Rescue opened to about 400K with late shows starting at 7PM. This is about on par with last years Planes, and should gross about the same.
