Amiga 500 was one of the best computers ever made, it also happens to be my sweetheart while I was in high school.
The machine was so goddamn cool that it reigned supreme over all others. Creating a whole new underground culture with its graphics and sound capabilities and of course its games. A whole generation grew up proudly with Warmonger, Wings, Alien Breed, Shadow of the Beast, Lotus and other golden classics.
Now a dear old friend appears in the distance. Amiga Games Incorporated, and its library of over 300 titles, have been purchased for $500,000 by Writers’ Group, a company that acquires and distributes digital content.
The new owner is promising several announcements over the next few weeks.
