Yesterday we got an email informing us that Amerigo Gazaway (the guy who put together the awesome Bizzare Tribe & Fela Soul) would no longer be a part of Gummy Soul, the label he helped build. He has chosen to start his own endeavor “Amerigo Music” (and will be joined by Gummy Soul’s label manager Rickey Mindlin) so that he can focus on his music rather than dealing with the (often tedious) day-to-day duties of running a successful label.
To mark the start of Amerigo Music, he has released Chromed Out Remixes Vol. 1 which shows off exactly what he does best: mixing and blending together disparate sounds into one amazing track.
