Amelia Rose Blaire (Willa Burrell) recently sat down to chat with UInterview.com about True Blood and the experience of being on the show. One of the most frequent questions she get asked about is her character’s turning scene. Practically speaking, Blaire called it one of the more difficult scenes to do because it required a lot of fake blood and multiple takes. But in terms of Willa, the actress doubts that the character will ever regret being turned:
“I don’t know if she’s going to regret being turned. But I definitely think that’s she’s going to be going through some emotional journey having to deal with the repercussions of what happened last season.”
Another question Amelia is asked quite frequently is what is it like working with Alexander Skarsgård (Eric Northman). She is quick to point out that the Swedish actor has a sense of humor and very nice in real life compared to his vampire counterpart:
“He’s really goofy! He’s really goofy and always likes to make a lot of jokes. So he’s a lot of fun to work with and of course he’s very, very tall. He’s like 6’5” or something, so he’s definitely a figure to behold, but he’s really nice and really down to earth. And he drives a really nice car!”
As for True Blood, Blaire says of the final season that it will be bittersweet:
“The end of True Blood is going to make fans very happy and heartbroken at the same time. Because that’s what True Blood does best.”
