Amelia Rose Blaire on My Fox LA

True Blood’s Amelia Rose Blaire talked to My Fox LA about her role of Willa, the show’s final season and keeping work secrets from her sister.

Born in New York City, Blaire was a classically trained ballerina until she enrolled in The Sanford Meisner Center at the young age of 15. After graduating, Amelia studied with Oscar-nominated actress Lindsay Crouse who referred her to David Mamet and William H. Macy’s founded Atlantic Acting School where she studied conservatory theater with Felicity Huffman, Clark Gregg, and Camryn Manheim. Through her extensive theater training, Amelia has landed guest starring roles on numerous hit TV shows including NBC’s “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Grimm,” and CW’s “90210.”

In addition, Amelia is a proud member of the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and a devoted advocate for underprivileged children across the nation. She hopes to use her voice to help spread a positive message of empowerment to young girls in need.When she’s not filming, Amelia enjoys cooking, hiking, sewing and doing yoga. An avid animal lover, she regularly crusades for their loving treatment and adores her 2 cats and rabbit.
