Amazon’s ‘NFTMie’ explores NFT culture and disruption worldwide

The power to digitally authenticate nearly everything, as well as the opportunity to earn in ways that no one has ever dreamed. The documentary series “NFTMe” introduces non-fungible tokens in these and other ways.

Artists, collectors, and industry experts from around the globe shared their experiences with NFTs and how the fusion of art and technology has positively affected their daily lives.

In six 30-minute episodes, NFTMe exposes 50 pioneers in the NFT area from four continents, notably American singer Susaye Green (The Supremes), Queen Diambi (Queen of the Democratic Republic of the Congo), and NASA Riffic Artists. Anadol, Madonna’s music producer Peter Rafelson, and Cheryl Douglas of Potions, who released an NFT collection for the Black-Eyed Peas, to mention a few, are among others who have launched NFT collections.

The first episode highlights various people’s adventures through the NFT community and digital culture, with major influencers explaining NFTs and blockchain technology and Queen Diambi of Congo describing how her tribes have a Web3 attitude. While the second episode discusses how Refik Anadol is creating art with NASA and how Eminem’s request 20 years ago led to the NFT’s voyage, the first part focuses on how the NFT came to be.

In the next episodes, we’ll talk about how brands are using NFTs to reach new audiences and generations, the social effects of digital transformation, tokenization in the music industry, disruption in the metaverse, and the role of NFTs in giving artists a voice and being recognized.

The documentary series was made by Take Talk Media and Johnny Caplan, who has won many awards for his work. Production started in 2019 and had to be changed because of COVID-19. This included sending out an AI robot with Li-Dar sensors that let the director move around, direct, and talk from a distance. Message from the government saying:

“NFTMe intends to be the MTV of NFTs, providing the default go-to for information on NFTs in a clear, understandable and effective way, allowing viewers to absorb the plethora of terminology, diversity and opportunity in the Web3.0 realm.” are capable of. Experiencing the culture, the mood, the style and the energy.”

NFTME is available to watch on Amazon Prime. It first aired in the U.S. and the U.K. Tech Talk says that more broadcasters around the world will be able to show the series in 2023.
